The height of a badminton net should be 5 feet in height. That is, the top part of the net must be 5 feet from the floor.
The actual netting should start about 2 feet and 6 inches off of the ground.
The posts on the ends of the net should be 5 feet and 1 inch in height. The supports at the bottom and the top parts are included in this measurement.
There are no specific measurements as to how thick the netting has to be. However, you can expect the thickness of the netting to be less than half an inch for the most part.
How to Set Up a Badminton Net:
The process for how to set up a badminton net should be planned accordingly. You will have to set the poles for the net up on the ends of the court while also getting the layout measured evenly in the middle part of the badminton court.
